About Us

We here at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church gathered for the first time on the 4th of July weekend in 2005 for Mass at Gretchen Reeder Elementary School. This first gathering consisted of approximately 75 families. Since then we have steadily grown to our current membership of approximately 900 families.

In the last 10 years we have completed the parish rectory which provides housing for the pastor and a chapel for daily mass. We have completed the process of building our parish center, which includes the worship center, offices, gymnasium and kitchen. Our first mass in our new facility took place on Pentecost Sunday, May 23, 2010.

We feel our greatest accomplishment is the development of a great spirit of Christian community among our members. We strive to live our mission statement. To be Christ for one another living the command of Jesus: "As I have loved you, so you also should love one another. This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." - John 13:34b,35 (New American Bible).

We are a very young parish with many young parents and very young children but we also have a solid base of more senior couples who help to give our community a foundation of strength and maturity. If you are interested in becoming a member we would love to have you become a part of this dynamic community and would ask that you contact the parish office at 402-916-9730 for further information.
